Advanced Help
- What is a reference (ref) code?
- How do I set up a reference code?
- All my files on my website are .htm files but Conversion Chicken requires them to be .php, can I use the Conversion Chicken?
- To set up a reference code simply add ?ref=xxxxxx to the end of your link from that website, where xxxxxx is a unique reference code (between 1 and 250 characters in length, with no spaces).
For example, if your site is widgets.com and you have a blog named greenwidgets.com which is sending traffic to your salespage the link on their site will probably look like:
If However You'd like to track that link you'd add ?ref=xxx to the end of the link, like so:
Then you can look at your logs page at any time and it will show how many people have clicked on that link to come to your website. (Shown down the bottom of viewlogs).
